FAQ

Questions clients ask

Why does a WordPress site need ongoing maintenance?

+

Most hacked WordPress sites are running an outdated plugin or theme with a known vulnerability. Updates close those holes, but an update can also break a layout or a form. Maintenance means someone applies the updates on schedule and checks the site afterwards, so you get the security fixes without the surprises.

What happens if an update breaks my site?

+

We take a backup before every update run. If something breaks, we fix it or roll back to the working version, and that is covered by your plan. You should not be the one who finds out.

Do you work on sites someone else built?

+

Yes. Most of the sites we maintain were built by another developer or agency. We start with an audit so we know what we are taking on before the first update.

Is there a contract?

+

No. Plans are month to month. You can change tiers, add or drop add-ons, or cancel with 30 days notice.

Can you host the site too?

+

Yes, hosting is available as an add-on. If you are happy with your current host, we maintain the site where it is.
